No accounts, no sign-up, nothing to hand over. Here is everything CountdownPro stores or sends.

Stored in your browser

Your timers (length, label, end time), alarm settings, workout and Pomodoro settings, stopwatch laps and alarms are saved in your browser’s local storage under keys starting with cdp:. That is what lets a timer survive a reload. It never leaves your device, and we can’t see it.

Notifications

If you turn on notifications, your browser shows them locally when a timer ends. We register a small helper script (/notify-sw.js) only so notifications can be shown and clicked; it does not cache pages or send anything anywhere. We do not use push servers.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not build personal profiles.

AI workout planner

If you press “Build my timer” on the interval timer page, the text you typed is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to create the segment list. We don’t store it or attach it to you. Nothing is sent unless you press the button.

Clock check

Shareable countdown links fetch the current time from our server so they can correct a wrong device clock. The request contains nothing about you.
